Whether you require short or long term support, services can be tailor-made to suit your needs.
Every villa at Whitby Lakes is hooked up to our Emergency Call Centre. That means that should smoke alarms be triggered, or you need an emergency service, help will be on the way immediately.
Where there is work requiring the attention of a plumber, electrician or TV repairman, the Village Manager will arrange for the work to be done by reliable and competent people.
We find that some of our residents enjoy time in their garden and manicuring their lawn. Whether you see your lawn and garden as a chore or a pastime, we will look after them for you, or leave them with you. The choice is yours.
Whitby Lakes has a special arrangement with Whitby Rest Home and Hospital, located nearby. Residents will receive priority access if they find they need rest home or hospital care.
Sometimes the challenges of day to day living can be made a lot easier – we can help you with housekeeping, laundry, meals, or temporary nursing care if you wish. Our Village Manager can arrange options to suit you.
The Village Manager and her team are always here to lend a helping hand. We can arrange support for you, whatever that might be.
While no nursing care is available on site, a doctor is available at the Whitby Medical Centre next door, as well as a pharmacy. It is a short drive south to the hospital at Porirua.
